What personal data we collect and why we collect it
The contact forms on the website allow you to provide us with your contact details (name, surname, email address and telephone number) which we will then use to get in contact with you to provide information about VWG and the products and services we offer.
This website also provides the opportunity to apply for employment and as such the personal information that you provide to us in the application process will be stored and processed by VWG for the purposes of considering you for career opportunities within VWG. We may also collect information from public sources, educational institutions and other third parties such as former employers and referees to verify or add to information you have provided to us.
Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymised string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
Should you wish to update any of the information submitted through the website this can be done by either resubmitting the information through the website or sending an email to info@vwgconsulting.co.za . Use & disclosure of information
VWG is committed to ensure that personal information collected is only used for the purpose for which it was collected or any reasonable secondary purpose which includes compliance with applicable laws. VWG will always obtain your written consent before using your personal information for a purpose different to the purpose it was collected for.
